MARYSVILLE -- Chester L. Sturdevant, 95, of 1318 New Jersey Ave., died Friday, Jan. 30, 1981 in Mercy Hospital after a short Illness. He was born Dec. 31, 1995 in Smiths Creek. His wife, the former Cecil Lapp died earlier.
He is survived by two sons, Keith, of Smiths Creek, and Donald of Marysville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be a 1 p.m. Monday in the Arthur Smith Funeral Home's South Chapel. The Rev. Daniel bills, of Smiths Creek Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Maleck, and Edward, Chester, Gary Allan and Dennis Sturdevant.
