Mrs. Grace M. Scanlon, 46, nee Krueger, of 281 S. Park Ave., Wheeling, died Friday in Holy Family Hospital, Des Plaines, following a long illness.

Visitation is today in Wheeling Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling. Funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 81 W. Dundee Road, Wheeling. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Mrs. Scanlon was past president of the Catholic Women's Club and was formerly employed for the Bank of Buffalo Grove. She had been a resident of Wheeling for 22 years.

Surviving are her husband, Ted, who is the mayor of Wheeling; four daughters, Mrs. Sally Kowal of Chicago, Penny, Debbie and Regina; two sons, David and Paul, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Schmidt of Glenview, Mrs. Clara Tegtman of Tennessee and Mrs. Anna Kinast of Wheeling; and five brothers, Henry Krueger of Tennessee, Herman Krueger of Chicago, Dick Krueger of Minnesota, Albert Krueger of Washington and George Jr. Krueger of Glenview.

Family requests, that in lieu of flowers, constributins may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Building Fund.
