She was born on Dec. 9, 1922, to William J. and Marie Troyer Handrich in McKnightstown, Penn.
She grew up and went to school in Fairview, Mich.
She married Emerson E. Yordy on May 25, 1944, in Fairview.
The couple moved to Oregon in 1960. In 1965, they moved to Lacomb.
She moved to Minnesota in 1994, living near her youngest son and his family.
She is survived by children Franz Yordy of Lacomb, Frieda Louden of Holiday, Fla., Cheryl Zehr of Jefferson, Daniel Yordy of Houston, Jenelle Frederico of Encinitas, Calif., and Glenn Yordy of Meadowlands, Minn.; 20 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; sister Paula Stotlzfus; brother Virgil Handrich; foster son Rick Bozek and many nieces and nephews.
Her husband of 48 years died in 1992. Her sons David and Thomas, sister Donna Esch and brother John Handrich also died before she did.
