Luise B. Zerbe, 85, of Pine Grove, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at Waterbridge at Pine Grove.
Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, Jan. 6, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Wilhelm and Else Roux Schaub.
Luise was a graduate of the University of Freiburg, Germany, and had been employed as a midwife and practical nurse.
She was a member of Salem-Hetzel's Lutheran Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Paul E. Zerbe, Nov. 8, 2003; and a sister, Inge Schaub.
Surviving are four daughters, Annagret, wife of Emory Herb, Pine Grove, Brenda, wife of Bill Lane, and Sherry Zerbe, both of Lebanon, and Melissa, wife of Dale Rehrer, a son, Rodney Zerbe, both of Pine Grove; four grandchildren, Katlyn Herb, E.J. Herb, Daniel Shoener and Nicole Witherow; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jayden Witherow; and a brother, Eberhard Schaub, Frankfurt, Germany.
Grave site services and interment will be held at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove. H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, is in charge of arrangements.
