Kaminski, Albert (11 JAN 1862 - 7 JUN 1945)

Albert Kaminski, an aged resident of this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.), passed away of a heart attack on Thursday afternoon June 7, 1945 at his home here. He had reached the age of 83 years and 6 months.

The deceased was born in Poland on Jan. 11, 1862. He came to this country while yet a young man and became employed in the Pennsylvania cola mines for some time before moving to this community and settling on a farm in the town of Withee. He retired from farming three years ago and moved to the village where he enjoyed good health and was ctive until the last few moments of his life.

He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, two sons, Michael of Thorp and John of Chicago, two step-children, Bill Kordek and Mrs. Joseph Krakowiecki (Adelle) and one sister, Mrs. Angeline Swiech, all of Chicago; also four grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's Church at ten o'clock on Monday morning, June 11th, with requiem mass being said by Rev. Frances Piekarski, local parish pastor, Rev. Jerome Kamla of Junction and Rev. Frank Brockman of Abbotsford, Wis.

Interment was made in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Konieczny, Joseph Moczarny, Ignatius Przybylski, Thos. Szatalowicz, Louis Twarowski and John Balcer.
