William Otto Bauer of Lot 28, Con. 11, Logan Township died at his home Tuesday night after a lengthy illness. He was born on Dec. 5, 1891, the son of the late William Bauer and Wilhelmine Hoppenrath.
Mr. Bauer resided on his parent's farm all his life with the exception of four years which he spent in Alberta. A member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, he attended the Kingdom Hall in Mitchell.
Surviving are: his wife, the former Lena Kistner, one son, Harold of Logan Township; two brothers, August of Logan Township and Charles of Alberta; one sister Mrs. Fred (Amelia) Scherbarth of Logan Township; and four grandchildren. Mr. Bauer was predeceased by one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Elsie) Bevan and one brother, Henry.
