Maggie Aggen died on 26 May 1915 at the age of 31 years from a burst appendix in the city of Blue Island, just south of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Source: scan of her death certificate.

The birth date on her headstone is very wrong and the death year was 1915 instead of 1914. The company that made Margaret's gravestone put probably also very incorrect information on her mother-in-law Antonetta Aggen's headstone concerning her birth date.
