Mamie was born in Gustine, CA to her parents J.M. and Emelia Santos in 1921. She enjoyed being a school bus driver, and a homemaker for her husband and children; she was also a 4-H leader and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mamie loved baseball, camping, fishing and traveling.
She is survived by her children Michael Lucas, Buster Lucas and Raymond Lucas all of Turlock; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Lucas; daughter Linda Lucas; parents; brothers Jess, Elvin and Joe and sister Isabel.
Viewing will be at Allen Mortuary on Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with rosary to follow at 7:00p.m. Mass will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, August 13th at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
