Lowe, Odelia K. (3 JAN 1897 - 17 AUG 1955)
Odelia Katherine Lowe, 58, was placed in her final resting place at Riverside Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 20th. Funeral services were conducted at 9 a.m. from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, with Fr. Crubel officiating.
The deceased passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1955, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. She was born on Jan. 3, 1897, at Foley, Minn. On June 9, 1929, she was united in marriage to Henry Lowe in a ceremony performed at Fremont, Neb. For 10 years the couple lived at Iowa City, Ia., then moved to Ogema, Wis., where they resided another 10 years, and then moved to Spencer. Here the couple resided for two years until 1948 when they purchased a farm located three-fourths of a mile north of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), where she lived until the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband, her father, Henry Gehling; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Vording, 125 Grand St., Minneapolis, Minn., Caroline of Foley, Minn., and Mrs. Carl (Sophia) Gray, Los Angeles, Calif.; and six brothers, Casper Gehling, who lives in Alabama, August, Paul, and Joseph Gehling, Patzue, Wis., and Anthony Gehling, West Allis, and Charles Gehling, Milwaukee.
