Harry Untiedt, 78, Route 8, Tripoli, a former Colby resident, died Saturday in the Tomahawk hospital. Mr. Untiedt was a patrolman on County Trunk N. He also farmed in the town of Green Grove and served on the Green Groove Board of Directors. He was a member of Senior Citizens. He was born July 18, 1903, in Woonscoket, S.D. son of Mr. and Mrs. John Untiedt. He married Viola Leonhard in Colby on June 25, 1930. She survives. Other survivors include four sons, John, Alexandria, Va., Harry, Spring Groove, Ill., Jerome, Barrington, Ill., and Lynn, Schaumburg, Ill.; eight daughters, Mrs. Clem (Evelyn) Arend, Greendale, Mrs. Tom (Joan) Petrykowski, Racine, Mrs. Donald (Donna) Scidmore, Holcombe, Mrs. Barry (Karen) Dorazio, Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Paul, (Geraldine) Hein, Alexandria, Beverly Untiedt, Chicago, Ill., Patricia Untiedt, Palestine, Ill., and Mrs. Bill (Cindy) Singstock, Wausau; a sister, Viola Untiedt, Abbotsford; 26 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. The Rev. Raymond Pedretti will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, after 4 p.m. today. There will be a rosary at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
