Franklin Winston Black (Uncle Frank), 71, of Bonne Terre passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1942, in Bonne Terre to the late August "Gus" and Mildred (Blanton) Black. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Glenwood, George "Brownie" and Damon Black; six sisters, Bernice Black, Carolyn "Kay" Wigger, Sharon Loafman, Joyce White, Virginia Smith and Maggie Johnston.

Frank married Judy (Burr) Black on December 27, 1960, in Bonne Terre. He retired from Chrysler as the UAW 136 Vice President in 1985. Frank was loved by all who knew him. He was proud of his family and loved his grandchildren dearly.

Frank is survived by his wife, Judy Black; three children, Jeff (Tracey Dunlap) Black, Angie (Nick) Province all of Bonne Terre, Teresa (Steve) Mesey of DeSoto; seven grandchildren, Natalie (Ben) Minkel, Katie and Emily Christopher, Makenzie and Maggie Mesey, Noah Mesey and Bailey Black; two great-grandchildren, Haley and Barrett Minkel; four brothers, Randy (Connie) Black, Michael "Bo" (Debbie) Black, Homer "Frog" (Andrea) Black and Lindell Black. Frank loved his special friends at Hardees, Hub's Pub, and the Bonne Terre Pond.
