FRANCIS O MOSES--RICHBURG--Francis O. Moses, of Main St, died today (Saturday July 14, 1973) in the Olean General Hospital following a brief illness.
Born July 17, 1916 in Richburg, he was a son of Frank and Nina Putnam Moses. He married the former Bernice Palmquist of Olean, July 29, 1938, who survives.
Also surviving are son, Rev. Jerry L. Moses; daughter, Mrs Richard (Marlene) Starr; four grandchildren; a brother, the Rev. Howard Moses and sisters, Mrs William Herne and Mrs Paul Wheeler.
Mr Moses was employed for many years as the village superintendent of Richburg.
He attended the Richburg Central school and was a member of the Richburg First Day Baptist church.
Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc, Bolivar, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday (July 16, 1973) at 2 p.m. in the First Day Baptist church, with his son, the Rev Jerry Moses, officiating. Burial will be in Richburg Cemetery.
