Artie Leroy Stich, 75, 123 W. Elm, died at Municipal hospital Monday.
Funeral services will be in Strode chapel, Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Fairlawn cemetery.
Stich was born at Mount Vernon, Ill., March 30, 1875. He came to Kansas at the age of two with his parents and lived there until 1890 when he came to Oklahoma. His marriage to Dollie E. Sugg took place in Stillwater, April 18, 1893.
Since that time he has lived in Pawnee, Stillwater and Ponca City, for a few years before being forced to retire because of ill health. He came to Stillwater where he has lived for the past eight years. Stich was a member of the Modern Woodman lodge.
Survivors include his wife of the home address, three sons, Henry L.E. of the city, A. Luther, route 2, Stillwater; Layton L. of Stillwater, and four daughters, Mrs. Helen Freeman of the home address, Mrs. Golda L. Truitt of Santa Ana, Calif., Mrs. Maudine Wood of Ponca City, and Mrs. Ruth E. Day of Blackwell.
Other survivors are two grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Eva Doolin, 1005 Duck, and two brothers, Ernest of Cleveland and Marion A. of Roswell, N.Mex.
