Paul F. Medved of Deltona, Fla., formerly of Portage, died April 14, 2004 in
Deltona. He was 80.

He was born in Washington County, Pa.

He was married to Lienelle Medved, who survives in Deltona.

He is also survived by three daughters, Janice (Indulecio) Ruiz of Indianapolis, June Nicholson of Portage and Joyce Sundsvold of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, John (Martha) Medved of Grindstone, Pa. and Albert (Billie) Medved of Leetonia, Ohio; two sisters, Marge Hvizda of Brownsville, Pa. and Wilma Gibson of Monongahela, Pa.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was retired from U.S. Steel and was a Veteran of WWII. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Deltona, Fla.

Funeral services, Rev. Walter J. Rakoczy officiating, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8 at Nativity of Our Savior Church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Portage.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Volusial/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, Fla. 32127.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home.
