CHESTER SIEROCKI

CHEYENNE—Funeral services for Chester Richard Sierocki were conducted Wednesday, July 29, in Cheyenne. Prayer services were in Saginaw, Mich., Aug 2, and a Catholic Mass was Aug. 3 at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Saginaw. The Rev. Gerald Kukla officiated. A military committal service took place Aug. 3 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Veterans Section, under the auspices of the VFW Post No. 1859.

Sierocki of 2917 East 10th St. in Cheyenne died July 26 at DePaul Hospital after a month-long illness.

He was born in Gaylord, Mich. He served in the U.S. Army as a photo interpreter in Korea and Vietnam until his retirement.

He is survived by daughters Katheryn of Cheyenne, formerly of Rock Springs, Maria Sierocki-Novotny of Rock Springs and Karen of Rock Springs; a son, John of Cheyenne; a brother, Austin of Saginaw, Mich., and several nieces and nephews from Saginaw.

He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral parish and of VFW No. 1881, F.E. Warren AFB Officers Club and Retired Officers of the United States of America.
