Mrs. Kate Lambrix, 83, former Pentwater resident, died Thursday at the Detroit home of her daughter, Mrs. Florence Kaye, following an illness of several months.
Kate Weigand, who was born in Detroit, February 5, 1864, came with her parents to Oceana County when a small child. She was married November 12, 1892, to Henry Lambrix, who died in December 1931.
The couple moved to Pentwater in 1910 and Mrs. Lambrix lived here until five years ago since when she made her home with her three daughters.
Those who survive are her three daughters, Mrs. Kaye of Detroit, Mrs. Gertrude Woodard of Plainview, Texas, and Mrs. Estella Matson of Mason County; one brother, George Weigand of Pentwater; one sister, Mrs. Mary Wilford of Elyria, Ohio, and one granddaughter, Miss Madonna Johnson of Mason County.
The body was taken to Feyen Funeral Home in Hart where it will remain until funeral services at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Hart Township Cemetery
