SHENANDOAH, IOWA--Cyril B McEnaney, 77, died Saturday at an Omaha, Nebraska hospital.
Mr. McEnaney was born in Kelly, Kansas and moved to Burlington Junction, Missouri in 1939. In 1957, he moved to the Shenandoah area, where he was a farmer. He retired and moved into Shenandoah in 1974.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shenandoah and the Knights of Columbus No. 1476.
He married Cecelia Marie Broxterman, January 9, 1930 in Baileyville, Kansas. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors include seven sons, Arthur McEnaney, St. Joseph, Missouri, Richard McEnaney, Kansas City, Missouri, Derald McEnaney, Gerald McEnaney, and Donnie McEnaney, all of Tarkio, Missouri, Leon McEnaney, Shenandoah, Iowa, and Delbert McEnaney, Farragut, Iowa; two daughters, Marceil Selkirk, Tonawanda, New York, and Anita Foster, Palmyra, Missouri; one sister, Ann Duncan, Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, S.J.McEnaney, Maryville, Missouri, and Tom McEnaney, Westboro, Missouri; 33 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St, Mary's Catholic Church, Shenandoah. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Shenandoah.
A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Jennings Chapel, Shenandoah, where friends may call anytime Tuesday.
