Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 14 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Elrosa for Elizabeth (Pohlmann) Boecker who died on Saturday, November 10 at the Melrose Area Hospital. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Daughters of Isabella, Christian Mothers, and Saint Martha's Mission Society will pray at 4:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Survivors include her twelve children, Elmer (Julianna) Boecker of New Munich, Ralph (Adeline) Boecker of St. Cloud, Edmund (Helen) Boecker of Long Prairie, Dorothy (Wilfred) Feldewerd of New Munich, Rita (Ken) Revermann of New Munich, Janet (Maurice) Michels of Elrosa, Geri (LeRoy) Moscho of St. Martin, Gene Boecker of St. Louis, Missouri, Lorraine (Steve) Pommerer of Darwin, Edna (Robert) Kramer of Melrose, Allen Boecker of Elrosa, and Tom (Angie) Boecker of Foley; 43 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Mildred) Pohlmann of Grey Eagle.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Norbert; grandsons, John Boecker and Greg Michels; granddaughter, Mary Boecker; great-granddaughter Aubyn Kathol; sisters, Loretta (Thielen) Zastrow, Margaret (Herman) Fischer; brother, Norbert Pohlmann; parents, Herman and Gertrude (Toenies) Pohlmann.
