◦NEW HAMBURG - Elmer H. Doering, 61, died at his home in Philipsburg early today. A son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Andrew Doering, he was born on the same farm where he died. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg. His wife, the former Ella Seyler, whom he married in 1926 survives. Also surviving are a son, Walter, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Armand (Norma) Weiler of Baden and Karolyn at home and two brothers, Theodore and Louis of Philipsburg. One grandchild also survives. One brother predeceased him last year. The body is at the Futher-Omand Funeral Home, New Hamburg, until Sunday noon when removal will be made to the residence. A private service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the residence, followed by a memorial service at Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. D. H. Stewart will officiate.
