BEVERLY A. BRUNS, 56, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013. Beverly was a 1975 graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School, Fort Wayne. She attended Valparaiso University and IUPUI, where she earned her undergraduate degree. She was passionate about the law, and received her law degree from Indiana University, Bloomington. She served in varying capacities helping the less fortunate navigate their legal issues. She is survived by her mother, Nina L. Bruns (father, Ken Bruns deceased); brothers, Richard (wife, Tammy), and Robert Bruns; sister, Becki Bruns; nephews, Benjamin (wife, Kim) and Tony Bruns; and niece, Alexis. "Bev had a laugh that could light up the room, and her family praises our loving God for holding her now in eternal rest until our family is united again in peace." Private Memorial service is 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Concordia Gardens Cemetery, 5365 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne (IN 46815), with viewing for family only at 10 a.m. Memorials to Concordia Lutheran High School, Fort Wayne; or Wheeler Mission Ministries Women & Children's Shelter, PO Box 3085, Indianapolis, IN 46206.
