Lester F. Eilers, 75, of Rock Falls died Wednesday in New Beginnings Nursing Home.

Les was born the 6th of May 1924, the Son of Fred H. & Martha Johnson Eilers, in Hopkins twp. Sterling, Whiteside, IL. He married Thelma Rosene on October 31, 1945 in Little Rock, AR. Parents of Kathleen (Dennis) Devers; and son Douglas Eilers; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial, with military honors, will be in Hopkins Cemetery, rural Sterling.
