Celeste Bailey Feb. 18, 1929 Oct. 28, 2005 Services will begin for Celeste Bailey at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel 3700 River Blvd. Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 3:00p.m. Pastor John May will officiate. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd. Celeste Bailey was born on February 18, 1929 in Arkansas, and went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2005 in Bakersfield, CA. Celeste is preceded in death by her parents; Garnett Dodson and Geneva; Dad Bryan Scott; sister Ellen Daughtry; husband Cecil Bailey, and nephew Burgess Daughtry. Celeste is survived by her daughters; Jeanne Clanton and Curtis Lee, LaDonna and Clifford Arthurs; Her grandchildren; Richard and Merril Clanton; Lisa and Ken Parrish and Brent Clanton; Danyl, Bryan and Jonathan Arthurs; Stephanie and Drew Shattuck; Her great-grandchildren BreAnne, Natilee and Kyle Parrish Grace and Lucas Clanton; Connor, Logan and Georgia Shattuck. Her sisters, Francis Scott; Virgina and Gerald, L.H. and Carolyn Dodson, Carolyn and Loyd Bowden, and inherited daughter and family Shelli, Mark, Breanne, and Brittany Fowler. The family would like to thank all of our family and friends, Dr. Bradley Joseph, Richard Greer, wife Peggy, nurses and staff at San Joaquin hospital, Liz Rogers and the staff at Evergreen, her second family at Carriage House Estates and Hoffman Hospice for all the prayers and support during these last few months.
