F. Wilhemenia was the daughter of Peter Zierold. She was born in Germany. Minna, as she was called, was widowed in 1876 and raised her 10 children alone. In 1900, 6 of her 9 remaining children were living with her: Louisa, Emil, Emilia, Anna, August and Ernestina. Ernestina, had married but she was widowed young and had a son Emil Beyer.

Daughter Emelia married in 1908 to Herman Weidlich of Hartford, CT and moved there
