HENRY BOURLAND
Henry "Hank" Bourland, 74, of Litchfield died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Services were at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Litchfield Methodist Church. The Rev. Heidi Revelo officiated. Burial was in the Litchfield Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Bourland, Mike Bourland, Bruce Pickering, Rick Bourland, Joe Bourland, Jay Bourland, LaVern Pickering and Shawn Bourland.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Henry "Hank" Bourland was born on April 13, 1926, at Walworth to John and Iva (Ash) Bourland. He attended school in Broken Bow and received his LP gas education in Dallas.
He married Hazel Smith on Aug. 9, 1943, at Lexington. The couple lived in Cozad and Kearney before moving to Litchfield in 1956. He owned and operated a propane business and an electric, heating and air conditioning business. He retired in 1997. Mrs. Bourland died in 1998.
Survivors include two sons, John and Richard, both of Litchfield; two daughters, Barbara Kment of Grand Island and Beverly Bourland of Litchfield; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth Ackerman of Oakland, Ill.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters.
Rasmussen Mortuary in Ravenna was in charge of arrangements.
