Hugo Maas, 74, 221 E. 4th St., died Wednesday at Community Memorial Hospital. He was a retired printer. He Was born Sept. 18, 1888, in Winona to Frederick and Marie Gohlke Maas. He lived in Minneapolis from the early 1930s until the mid-1940s and spent the remaining years of his life in Winona. His wife, Hazel, died in September 1961.

Survivors are one sister, Mrs. J. I (Gertrude) Van Vranken, Winona, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Breitlow Funeral Home, the Rev, Emil Geistfeld, St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Funeral services for Hugo Maas, 221 E. 4th St., were held today at 2 p.m. at Breitlow Funeral Home, the Rev. Emil Geistfeld; St. Martin's Ev. Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Elmer Brugger, Frank Klagge, Glenn: Bratburg, Carl Singer, Marcel Cyert and Clayton Vanderbosch.
