Funeral services for Max Todt, 69, were held Friday morning in United Methodist church in Montevideo with Rev. Clifford Wittstruck officiating. Burial was in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens, Montevideo with Wing funeral home in charge. Nona Thompson was organist.
Honorary pallbearers were Henry Glomstad, Leroy Loken, Harold Meisner, Harold Henstein, Leslie Coy, Bruce DeVall, Ike Peterson, Arthur Agre, Alvin Manthei, Roger Wik, Eddie Lake, Merl Nordstrom, Luther Molde, Dale Peterson and Lawrence Weckworth, Montevideo. Active pallbearers were Willard Freeman, Joel Johnson, James Erickson, Adolph Hanson, Hiram Ellingson and Robert Nerdahl.
Mr. Todt died August 3 at the Montevideo hospital.
He was born June 22, 1902 at Wood Lake [Posen Township], a son of Louis and Katherine Todt who farmed near Wood Lake. Mr. Todt was employed by Minnesota Valley Light and Power Co-operative in Montevideo many years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Fannie Frankland, three children, Mrs. Curtis (Maxie Lou) Hanson, Montevideo; Fay, St. Paul, and Monty, Van Nuys, Calif.; four grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mrs. William (Dora) Hulke, Elgin, Ill.; Louis Todt and Mrs. Carl (Ida) Hoepner, Wood Lake; Mrs. Julius (Augusta) Timm [cut off]
