Keim - Leonard John Keim. Age 74 Years At North Oak Hospital In Hammond, La. On Monday, November 04, 2002. Beloved son of the late Olga Wegener Keim. Brother of Helen K. Bozant and the late Carl A. Keim, Marian K. Ward and Elwood H. Keim. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services from St. Paul Lutheran Church, 707 W. Dakota, Hammond, La. On Saturday, November 9, 2002 at 2:00 o'clock pm. Interment in St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery #2. Visitation at St. Paul Lutheran

Leonard John Keim was born to Carl A. Keim and Olga Wegener Keim on February 5, 1928 in Hammond, Louisiana. He was baptized into the family of God on March 8, 1928 , and later confirmed his baptismal covenant with God on April 27, 1944 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in New Orleans , Louisiana . Mr. Leonard was taken home to his Lord on Monday, November 4, 2002 in Hammond, Louisiana at the age of 74 years, 9 months.
He retired from his position as secretary of missions and building custodian at St. Paul Lutheran Church and pre-school in Hammond about one year ago, having served his Lord and his church with much devotion and distinction. His smiling face and droll Christian wit always brought warmth and joy to the staff and students of St. Paul 's. He was a living testimony to the love and grace of God.
He is survived by one sister, Helen Bozant and numerous nieces and nephews.
We rejoice that Mr. Leonard is now dwelling forever in the house of the Lord. All praise and glory be to God for giving him life, rebirth in Christ and life forever in the kingdom of glory!
