Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery under direction of Osheim-Catron Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
She died early Thursday at a Rapid City nursing home.
She was born Nov. 21, 1902, at Spring Creek, N.D., the daughter of Adam and Anne Senger. She moved with her family to the Glen Cross area. She lived in Mobridge prior to her marriage to John Haveman April 16, 1933. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Linton, N.D. Her husband died in 1951. She moved to Rapid City in 1953.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.
She is survived by one son, Melvin of Rapid City; one stepson, John of Duluth, Minn.; one daughter Rose Marie Simpkins of Bellingham, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Edythe Loewen of Morro Bay, Calif., and Lucille Giroux of Seattle, Wash.; nine grandchildren; one brother, Wendelin Senger of Timber Lake, and three sisters, Christine Slaughter of Mount Rainier, Md., Rose Thares of Mobridge and Angie Toby of Concrete Wash.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, two grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.
