Walter Grube, 59, of Rt. 1, Delhi, died last Thursday afternoon in a veterans' hospital in Jackson, Miss., after a long illness. He was a well-known cotton farmer and a native of Central community.

Mr. Grube was a member of the North Central Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday of last week at Kidder-Cox Funeral Home in Delhi with the Rev. Doyle Adams officiating. Burial was in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors include a brother, Howard Grube, and sister, Mrs. Bernice Wright, both of Delhi, six nephews and a niece.

Pallbearers were Fred Black, Frederick Hunter, C. W. Williams, Baker Boyde, Ron McIntyre and Lawrence Woods.
