PENNDORF, Paul 89, formerly of New Port Richey, went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2009 at his residence in Summerfield, FL. He was born in Germany on Dec. 22, 1919 to Ernst and Ida Penndorf. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the 333rd Combat Engineers. He was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7987 and a 32nd Degree Mason from Lodge #1025. Survived by, son Richard Paul Penndorf and wife Mary of Summerfield, FL; daughter Karen Marie Knight and husband Rev. Michael Knight of West Chester, PA; son James Bruce Penndorf and wife Margo of Macon, GA; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Marie. The family requests donations be made in memory of Paul & Marie Penndorf to the National Alzheimer's Foundation.
