Our beloved wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and friend quietly passed away on Sunday morning, January 12, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. She was in the presence of her family at the home of her sister, Florence Webster, in Sandy, Utah.

Linda was born May 25, 1945 in Kearns, Utah. Raised by Ralph and Ida Burrows and her mother, Cora.

Married to her loving husband, Ronald Davis, nearly forty years.

Graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City. Linda loved printing. Worked for Costco, Oregon Liquor Control Comm, and Whitmore Library.

Linda had a love for animals all her life. She excelled at anything she did. She was very fond of quilting, homemaking, and spending time with those she loved.

She is survived by her husband, Ron; sisters, Florence (Marlen) Webster, Julia (Ray) Rodgers, Brothers Ray (Faye) Burrows, and Ronnie (Fawn-Nell) Burrows; son, Joseph Riggs; daughters, Elizabeth (Joe) Holmes and Becky (Steve) Purcell; and seven grandchildren. Preceded in death by beloved parents, Cora Burrows and Ralph and Ida Burrows; sons, Kenneth Riggs and Ken Davis; daughter, Kathleen; and brother, Arthur (Rhea) Kiisel.

Viewing and memorial services will be held at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 West South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan. Viewing on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Viewing also on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Interment: Sandy City Cemetery.
