Dorothy E. Rigg, 75, of Taylorville, IL died at 3:30 am Thursday, August 14, 2003 at her residence. She was born August 28, 1927 in Edinburg, Illinois, the daughter of Edwin and Eula Butterfield Schneider. She married Rex E. Rigg in Taylorville in May 1973. Mrs. Rigg was a beautician and doll maker and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville and a former member of the Eagles Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Rex Rigg of Taylorville; 2 sons, Lynn Bialas and William Tom McLeod and wife Janice of Taylorville. Four Grandchildren, Brandon McLeod, Bronson McLeod, Jeremy McLeod and Colleen McLeod and 1 Great Granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Daniel Bialas, three sister and a brother.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm Monday, August 18, 2003 in McClure Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL. Visitation will be from Noon until time of service in the funeral home on Monday.
