Funeral services for Henry Christian Stiller of Duck Hill were held Tuesday, December 14, at Tharp Sontheimer Chapel in New Orleans. Interment was in Garden of Memory Cemetery in New Orleans.
Mr. Stiller, 97, died Sunday, December 12 at the Grenada County Hospital. He was a retired railroad foreman.
He is survived by five daughters, Lela Bell of Duck Hill, Elizabeth Brown of Covington, Louisiana; Margaret Macagnoni of New Orleans, Henrietta Chalaire of Poydras, Louisiana; and Helen Arcement of Houston, Texas.
Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of the local arrangements.

Henry Christian Stiller, 97, of Duck Hill died December 12 at the Grenada County Hospital after a brief illness. A native of New Orleans, he was a retired foreman for the L&N Railroad. His wife was the late Gertrude Margaret Dorn.
He is survived by five daughters, Lela Bell of Duck Hill, Elizabeth Brown of Covington, Louisiana, Margaret Macagnoni of New Orleans, Henrietta Chalaire of Poydras, and Helen Arcement of Houston, Texas. He also leaves eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Funeral services were held at Tharp-Sontheimer Chapel in New Orleans at 11 a.m. on December 14. Burial was in Gardens of Memories in Metarie.
