She was a native of Hardin County, a 1936 graduate of Bethlehem Academy and retired after 10 years from the Kentucky Division of Forestry. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, where she formerly was active in the Rosary Guild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Roy Medley; her parents, William Robert and Teresa Elizabeth Gatton Skees; one sister, Elizabeth Skees; and four brothers, R. Denis Skees, Marion Skees, Bernard Skees and Mike Skees.
She is survived by two sons, C. Patrick (Carol) Medley, and J. Michael (Gabriele) Medley; one daughter, Mary Lou Medley; one brother, Hugh (Jasmine) Skees of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Helen Howlett and Norma Howlett; six grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Burial in St. James Cemetery.
