CATHRYN E. WILBERDING, age 91, formerly of 315 N. Ninth St., died Saturday, March 20, 1993, at Hillview Home. She was born Dec. 18, 1901, in La Crosse, to Charles and Elizabeth (Poehling) Fries. She married William P. Wilberding April 11, 1953. He preceded her in death in 1969. Cathryn was a member of the St. Joseph the Workman Womens's Organization. She taught fur restyling at WWTI for over 20 years. She also worked at Conrad Fur Store for 22 years, and had worked at the Autolite for 15 years before its closing.
She is survived by nine nieces and six nephews. In additon to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, seven brothers, and one niece.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Blaschke Funeral Home, 401 West Ave. S., and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral. The Rev. Robert Cook will officiate, wtih burial to be in the Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m., with the Rosary to be at 7 p.m.
