He was born June 3, 1932, in Russellville, to Peter L. Jennen Sr. and Lillian Wilding Jennen.
He was retired from the Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Russellville, a veteran of the Korean War, and a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Joseph Jennen Jr.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Harry and Paulette Jennen of Pottsville, and Tommy and Debbie Jennen of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Darrell Osburn of Russellville; eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and his most beloved little dog, Taffy.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening, from 5-6 p.m., at Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.
