"Her father was listed on Conn. Dth Cert. as "Edward Reichel." She stated on a Passport Application in Conn., 1891, as born 12 Nov. 1843, Germany. (I have used that date as being accurate). She later moved to Nebraska where her son, Berthold C.G. Tiesing, was a physician and was listed in his HH in 1920, and later in his widow's HH in 1930. She stated in the 1900 New Haven, Conn. census, that she was a widow, 57y, the mother of 5 children, and 3 living children. Only Herbert E. Teising, son, 19, b. Conn, was in her HH in 1900, but Edward and wife, Annie were next door."
