Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Wednesday, May 11, 1977, page 12. Obituary: TUCSON- Anthon H. Walser a Williams resident for more than 30 years, died here Tuesday at the Veteran's Administration Hospital. Mr. Walser was born in Miami and was graduated from Miami High School in 1939. He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II and moved to Williams following the war. He was a retired Coconino County Highway Department foreman and was a member of Williams Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, El Zaribah Shrine and the American Legion. He was past commander of the State American Legion.

Survivors include his widow, Elizabeth of Williams; a son, Sgt. Michael Walser in the U.S. Air Force in Germany; two daughters, Mrs. Toni Thompson of Tucson and Mrs. Patricia Bennick of Phoenix; two brothers and two sisters, all living out of state. Graveside services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.

Walser, 54, who had lived in Williams since 1946, will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Mountain View Cemetery. Mr. Walser, who died Tuesday in the The Veterans' Administration Hospital, was a retired foreman for the Coconino County Highway Department.

Surviviors include his wife, Elizabeth; his children, Sgt. Michael Walser, Mrs. Toni Thompson, and Mrs. Patricia Bennick; two brothers and a sister; and three great grandchildren. Ruffner Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
