Christina Jacobs, 93, of Illinois, died Sunday, October 13, 1991.
Born on Wednesday, December 15, 1897, in Pfeifer, Russia, she was the daughter of the late Mathias Schmidt and the late Anna Maria (Dechant).
On Wednesday, November 28, 1962 she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, George Jacobs, son of George Jacobs and Cathna (Lang).
Christina is survived by five children, Marie Richer, Benjamin, Marcella Steiner and her husband Robert, William, and Wilhemina Weel; three half siblings, Elizabeth Schafer, Alexander Schmidt, and Anna Landauer and her husband Joseph; and sixteen grandchildren.
Christina was preceded in death by one son, Alphonse of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois; two sisters, Maria Garris of Oelwein, Iowa, and Pauline Kirhgesner of Akron, Ohio; one half sister, Lena Hergenreder of Chicago, Illinois.
