Services Tomorrow For Crash Victims

The Rev. Wesley Bacon and the Rev. Jerald M. Shave will officiate at services at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Norris Funeral Home, Marcellus, for two victims of a head-on collision on W. Seneca Tpke. Monday.

The victims were Kenneth Kinne, 30, a carpenter who lived at Cedarvale Rd., near Cards Corners, and his brother-in-law, Edward C. Klering, 43, a Cards Corners contractor.

Donald Klering, 29, of Cedarvale Rd., brother of Edward Klering, is in fair condition at Onondaga General Hospital. He was a passenger with his brother, in the car driven by Kinne.

Joel C. Baker, 16, of 20 Slocum St., Marcellus, driver of the other car, is also in fair condition at Syracuse General Hospital.

Mr. Klering, who had developed much of the area around Cards Corners, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Klering; a son, James Klering; two daughters, Judy and Jeanne Klering; his mother, Mrs. Glenna Flower of Mattydale; three brothers, Donald and Jack Klering and Glenn Flower; three sisters, Mrs. Dawn Grenier, Mrs. Shirley Rockwell and Mrs. Betty Wentworth; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kinne, employed by his brother-in-law, was a veteran of the Korean conflict. He served in the Air Force. He was a member of the Taunton United Presbyterian Memorial Church.

Mr. Kinne is survived by his wife, Mrs. Patricia Major Kinne; a daughter, Karen Kinne; his father, Harry Kinne; two brothers, Harry Kinne of Cards Corners and Bernard Kinne of Nevada; and a sister, Mrs. Edward C. Klering.

Mr. Kinne will be buried in White Chapel Memory Gardens. Mr. Klering will be buried in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends of the two men may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
