Stephen passed away at his home on January 31. Steve was born on May 25, 1958, the son of Lawrence and Wilma (Poen) Luckow. He was baptized and confirmed at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lake View. Steve attended Sac City Schools and graduated from Sac City High School in 1976. After graduating he farmed and also worked for many area farmers until his health forced him to retire.
In his early years Steve enjoyed his motorcycle. He also enjoyed gardening, his cats, cooking and was a faithful and dedicated caregiver for his mother, Wilma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert and two sisters Jean and Deanne.
Steve is survived by his sister Marilyn Cates and her husband Dale, Storm Lake; four brothers and their wives: Ronald and Connie Luckow of Muscatine, Randall and Betty Luckow of Sac City, Lylc and Nancy Luckow of Des Moines, and Lennis and Penny Luckow of Las Vegas, Nevada; also many nieces and nephews.
