He was born in Pittsburgh June 22, 1899, the son of James and Agnes Thompson Davidson.
He married the former Nora Seyboth on June 26, 1924. She died Feb 17, 1959.
He was employed by Hillcrest Machine Shop as a machinist from 1945 until his retirement in 1962.
Mr. Davidson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Hoke of Titusville; three sons, Norman R. Davidson of Pleasantville, RD 1, Kenneth L. Davidson and William L. Davidson of Titusville; 15 grandchildren and 5 great granchildren; one brother Robert Davidson of Floriday. A son, John J. Davidson, Jr., died in 1938, and a great grandson, three brothers and 3 sisters died previously.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and attend the funeral service there at 2:30 p.m. Thursday with Rev. John G. MacDonald, rector at St. James Memorial Episcopal Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
