Dolores J. Dombrowsky Szwed of Bradley Street, Scottdale died early Wednesday evening, December 31, 2003 in Frick Hospital, Mt Pleasant at the age of 68. She was born in Scottdale, July 23, 1935, a daughter of the late Felix X. and Lucy Warrick Dombrowsky. Dolores was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Scottdale, and was a former member of St John the Baptist RC Church, Scottdale.
Dolores' memories will forever be cherished in the heart of her husband of 41 years, Edward W. Szwed, Sr. who she married November 17, 1962, her two sons: Edward W. Szwed, Jr. and his fiancé, Dana Sparks, of Scottdale; Donald Beranek and his wife, Leanna, of Connellsville; her two daughters: Mary Pravilik and her husband, Gary, of Mt Pleasant; Debbie Parfitt and her husband, Bruce, of Alverton; her ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; her step-father, James Foster, of Scottdale; her brother, Felix Dombrowsky, and his wife, Judith, of Scottdale; her sister, Emily Lillock, of Owls Head, New York. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Beranek, who died July 24, 1999.
