Noble Barton Geibel, well-known resident of Loysburg, died at his home at 1:30 p.m. May 23 (1940), aged 58. He was a son of the late John W. and Charlotte (Noble) Geibel and was born at Osterburg on April 24, 1882. He was married on Aug. 12, 1916, to Rose Long, who survives, together with two daughters, Isabelle and Doris, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Rose Snyder and Mrs. John Curry, both of Roaring Spring.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ernest Noll in the Reformed Church at Loysburg Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment followed in the cemetery at that place.
