She was born May 25, 1927 in Hawbuck, the daughter of John and Lulu Stark Farrell, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Donald Acord on June 14, 1947 in Georgetown. He passed away on Feb. 17, 2005.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Mickey Acord; her son-in-law, Tim Whaley; her brothers, Harold and Raymond; two infant brothers and her sister, Freda Rossiter Oliphant.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Acord, Donna "Christine" (Michael) Cosat and Teresa Rae Whaley; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and her sister, Mabel Lisick.
Inez worked in some factories in her early years. She loved gardening and canning. She also loved to go camping and hosted many fish fries. Inez cherished her family the most and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandkids.
