Lloyd J. Sigl, 92, Ledgeview, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence of Unity Hospice. He was born October 4, 1921 in Casco, WI, son of the late George and Celia (Vandermoss) Sigl. On May 3, 1956 he married the love of his life, Eileen Verheyen in Green Bay. Lloyd served his country in the United States Army.
Lloyd worked at the Armour Company for 26 years. After retiring from there he drove school bus for Lamers Bus Lines for 22 years. Lloyd was a very proud, loving and devoted husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa who was always there to help out his family every opportunity he had. Through the years he loved spending time with his family, taking road trips, hunting, camping, fishing, playing cards and relaxing in the backyard swing with someone or just listening to a Brewer game on the radio. You could often count on a practical joke or his sense of humor to make you laugh.
Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Eileen; children: Keith (Lorna) Sigl, Roxanne (Dan) Williams; grandchildren: Cherry (Mike) Sewell, Brian (Nikki) Sigl, Renee (Brady) Piontek, Melissa Krull, Tyler Williams; seven great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his 7 siblings.
