Fannie, wife of B.F. Heise, died at 8:15 o'clock Tuesday evening at her home 908 Locust street, from a complication of diseases. She was in her 82nd year. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children, Emma, wife of William F. Yohn, Mountville; Harry W. and Ella, wife of Howard G. Smoke, both of Columbia. Five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Susan Hershey, Landisville. Mrs. Heise was a member of Salome United Brethren church. Mr. and Mrs. Heise were married 58 years in December, residing in West Hempfield township for 35 years and at their present home since 1903. (Lancaster New Era - Jan 19, 1927)
