JOSEPH KOTLER - MARCH 25, 2011

Born March 30, 1916, Joseph Kotler of The Landings community in Fort Myers, passed away yesterday, March 25th.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 30th at 3:00p.m, which would have been his 95th birthday. All are invited to attend. Services will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.

The Kotlers are members of The Unitarian Church of Fort Myers. Joe was a lawyer and a former vice president of Warner Brothers TV & Motion Pictures. He served his country as a captain in the US Air Force during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Cameron Kotler. Barbara is a singer-songwriter who sang with Rosemary Clooney and the Clooney Sisters. She replaced Doris Day on the "The Moon River" radio show on WLW in Cincinnati. Barbara also wrote and sang the famous "Roadrunner" theme from the hit cartoon series. His son, Doug Cameron and wife Juliette live in Fort Myers with their sons, Alex and Sean. Doug is a jazz violinist/performer/composer. His daughter, Cameron Sawzin is a professional cellist and resident of Boston.

He and his wife Barbara celebrated a lifetime (63 years!) of love and friendship. He will be missed by all..
