Jean Baptiste Lefevre born in 1815.
Birth: 28 MAR 1815 in Pietrebais, Brabant Wallon, Belgium
Death: 28 NOV. 1898 in Robinsonville/Champion, Brown, Wisconsin, USA
Jean Baptist Lefevre, along with his living children Immigratied to the United States in 1855 Aboard the ship "Lochinvar", departing Antwerp 15 September 1855 and landing at New York on 23 October 1855.
MARRIAGE:
Jean Baptist's spouse, Mary Ruben, died about 1853-1854 in Belgium, just prior to his immigration to the US.
It is known that 3 of their living children came with him. All of them were born, as you can see, in Pietrebaus.
CHILDREN of Jean and Mary Rubens who came tothe US are:
-Joseph Lefevre b: APR 1839 in Pietrebais, Brabant Wallon, Belgium.
-Leopold (Paul H.) Lefevre b: 10 APR 1841 in Pietrebais, Brabant Wallon, Belgium.
-Marie Sylvie Lefevre b: 20 MAR 1851 in Pietrebais, Brabant Wallon, Belgium.
It is unclear if Jean Baptist Lefevre is buried in this same cemetery as his son Joseph, and several other family members/descendants of his. A stone has not been found, may not have been made, or he may not have been formally buried here but elsewhere and/or on family land.
Requirements for burials, along with the record keeping of them at this time can be somewhat spotty.
At the time of the 1880 census Jean was living with his son Joseph, and his family in Robinsonville.
Jean did reside and farm with his son Joseph and his family, in the Township of Green Bay. Robinsonville -which later was renamed Champion. This cemetery is where many who lived in this area are buried.
