Funeral services for Larry J. Olerich, 52, of Lake View were held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Lake View at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 1993. Pastor H.W. Kramer officiated. Mr. Olerich passed away at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, on Monday, January 18, 1993.

Music was by organist Jim Stock and congregational singing. Mrs. David Cole and Mrs. H.W. Kramer were in charge of floral arrangements.

Pallbearers were Chester Connley, Richard Hoppe, Bill Auen, Randy Drost, Marvin Ziegmann, Steve Ziegmann and Gordon Cochran. Interment was made in Wall Lake Cemetery under the direction of Farber & Otteman Funeral Home.

Larry J. Olerich was born January 5, 1941, in Carroll, the son of Clarence and Veronica Olerich. He attended school through the ninth grade.

He married Marsha Segebart Gollobit on November 21, 1987. The couple lived in Lake View.

Mr. Olerich was employed at Farmland in Denison until 1988.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking, bowling and spending time with his family.

He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha; his father, Clarence Olerich of Lake View; four sons: Dale Olerich of Kiron, John Olerich and Allan Meisheid, both of Lake View and Mike Gollobit of Carroll; five daughters: Cindy (Mrs. Joe) Krimmel of Sac City, Patti Brotherson of Lake View, Judy Stender of Carroll, and Michelle and Lisa Gollobit at home; seven grandchildren: Becky and Rodney Olerich of Kiron, Ashley Olerich of Sac City; Chad Brotherson of Lake View, David and Crystal Olerich of Lake View and Shannon Stender of Carroll; three sisters: Loretta Carnes of Lake View, Marcella (Mrs. Gary) Smith of Omaha and Nora (Mrs. Jerry) Collins of Lake View; three brothers: Louis and LeRoy Olerich of Lake View and Robert Olerich of Des Moines; and his mother-in-law, Viola Segebart of Denison.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Veronica; his father-in-law, Earl Segebart; and a son-in-law, Mark Brotherson.
